Inspired by the interweaving of memory, myth, and history in the poem "The Flood" by Joy Harjo, a writer of the Muscogee Nation, we'll tell our our own stories through the lenses of stories and histories we've inherited.

Harjo is an American poet, musician, playwright, and author who served as the 23rd United States poet laureate from 2019 to 2022, and is the first Native American to hold that honor.
