Community PAUSE: Virginia 250—A Community Art Exhibit

  • Studio Pause 4710 Columbia Pike Arlington, VA USA (map)

A Community PAUSE is where we invite the community to make time to engage with our exhibit, get a tour by artist and curator Sushmita Mazumdar, and listen to the participating artists and poets. Please plan to be there for the full 2 hours to see the full extent of our community art exhibit created to reflect on 250 years of Virginia. As of now we have poetry, visual art, an essay, and sculpture by 16 participants and 5 community artworks including The PoeTree, art by clients of Arlington Free Clinic, the participants of Buckingham Youth Brigade, and the responses from the Multicultural Training Project we did for Arlington County Employees based on the exhibit! Wow, right?

Join us as we end our spring exhibit with this event. Light refreshments will be served.
